As usual around 6.30 am, it was a beautiful Sunday we started from home with full tank petrol towards Hogenakkal falls. It was a one day trip we took madiwala route towards Electronic city > Attibele > Hosur > Krishnagiri > Dharampuri > Hogenakkal and coming back was also in same route in reverse direction. In between after Krishnagiri we took ½ an hour tea break. There are shops in between you can have a break there. After reaching to Dharampuri you need to take left turn beside the bridge and after 1/2km there is a small junction. You need to take a right turn under the bridge it was SH17 towards Pennagaram end at Hogenakkal. In between we took some photograph

There is a car entry fee Rs30. Nearby some guys was selling coconut. We had and started down towards falls. After reaching to hogenakkal we parked our vehicle on the entrance itself. Try not to go inside because there is a lot of rush and its vey difficult to get car parking place there.

Hogenakkal is a riverside small village, a busy and noisy village, with plenty of vegetation and little habitation in Tamil Nadu. This place is famous for waterfalls. It is quiet beautiful waterfall and is a good picnic spot. Its water supposed to have curative powers as the waters of the Kaveri flow through a forest of herbs on their journey to Hogenakkal.

Hogenakkal Waterfalls, known as the 'Niagara' falls of India, are not a single waterfalls but a series of falls and they offers a promising holiday destination for nature lovers from and outside the country.

After car parking left for a coracle ride. We have 6 members team and the person are charging Rs1800 for 2 hr ride. Then anyhow after lot of bargaining we paid Rs1300 and for the intial boat fee Rs60 which we paid for 3 hr.

Then we started our coracle ride and on the other side they dropped us to see the falls and the beautiful surrounding area.We took some pictures.

Then follow through staircase and we started moving towards the big falls. The ride was taking us close to the falls. After that the rider took us to the other other end where we had our lunch. Before that we had oil massage after lot of conversation they agreed for RS50. Overall it was a good massage. Then we had bath there and also lot of fun in the water. We had lunch combined of 2 fish fry each member and sambar curry.

The marvelous Hogenakkal falls the beauty lies on it. The water crumbling bazz on the ear.

After full tummy we moved towards to the other side. Then the guy dropped us and given some tips to the guy. Then we are visiting the nearby area with lot of shopping places and also there was a main falls visit. There was a nominal ticket Rs-5 each. We visited the main falls and inside the market back to the car parking area.

From the car parking area there was a 1km ahead crocodile park.We had visited that place too.

Around 6:10pm we left from there and reached at home around 10pm.It was really exciting and beautifull place to visit.
