It was mid of February one fine Sunday around 8am we left towards the beautiful destination Yelagiri hills and around 11:30am we have reached. It’s a beautiful hill station for a one day trip height of about 920 meter above sea level. It is a small village.

From Bangalore it is distance of around 160 km. As usual go towards hosur road heading krishnagiri on NH7. At Krishnagiri there is a toll gate after paying toll at the second flyover take the service road towards left. You will find a small junction, at the junction you need to take a road which goes towards Chennai. Road condition is good it’s a NH46. Approximately 50 km of drive on that road you will find another toll after passing toll 1 km down the line from your left side you will find a petrol Bunk. Cross that and you will find a board written 22km towards Yelagiri. You need to take a U turn under the bridge the road which goes towards Thirupathur continue on that road about 7 KM (you'll see the winding road that leads up to the hills to your left). Turn left at this junction, there's a sign board pointing towards Yelagiri. Its an 14 hairpin bend curve.

After reaching to Yelagiri we went to visit Murugan Koil which is a beautiful temple

Then we went for visiting the artificial lake cum park where boating facility is also available. On the way returning we had lunch near to Nature Park.

On the way returning we had lunch near to Nature Park. After finishing lunch we went for boat house. We had full round of boating on the lake and enjoyed the boating ride. Boat house entrance is just opposite to nature park.

It’s already 3pm decided to go Jalagamparai Waterfalls. The River Attaaru, runs through the valleys of Yelagiri Hills. From the downhill main junction we need to go towards left driving around 30km you will reach to the falls. Don’t forget in the city there is a sacred college you need to take a left turn that road passes through a village and reach to the falls. There is a beautiful temple you must visit that temple before proceeding towards falls.

Around 6.30pm we left that place and way back to our home. 10pm we have reached at home. All together it was really a exciting and wonderful memorable oneday trip.
